First Time at the Beach

We went to the beach last weekend for a friend's wedding. Our required agenda: Outlet mall shopping, trip to the beach, and frozen custard from Shakes. Check, check, and check!


The beach was awesome! It was windy and the water was FREEZING, so we opted for just a trip for some pictures in the sand. He was so curious throughout the whole process. He played with the sand, tried to eat it, and all went well until his face-dive into the sand. What a trooper though. He didn't cry until I poured the bottled water on his face to wash it out of his eyes. Oops! Unfortunately, he's not sitting up completely on his own, and had quickly plummeted out of reach.

Then we went to the water to check it out. It was freezing! He was not a fan of the cold, wet sand. He was even less of a fan of the water. After trying for about the third time, we called it a day. He loves the bath and loved looking at the water. I bet he'll like it when the temp is actually tolerable!

We can't wait to go back!
